Unrivaled Pregame Show
In the fall of my junior year, I was offered a spot as one of two student reporters on the Unrivaled Pregame Show, a new venture from the Penn State athletic department. It was an hour-long live show every week that was intended to bring a typical football Saturday to Penn Staters across the world. Our resources were scarce due to COVID, but we wound up reaching thousands of viewers every Saturday.

Live Hit Montage/Compilation
For each show, I prepared a 2-minute segment on a timely, Penn State-related story and presented it live on location as a student reporter |
Slinky Pre-Recorded Feature
I was unable to go live on the show one week, so I pre-recorded this creative story on the Slinky toy and its interesting PSU connection |
Other Penn State Athletics Work
Micah Shrewsberry Interview
I caught up with Penn State men's basketball head coach Micah Shrewsberry just days before his first game coaching the Nittany Lions.

The Philly Minute
I was recently approached by one of the main people running Barstool Philly to produce a series of short videos where I provide commentary on the latest news in Philly sports. I've since made 2-3 videos a week for the brand, and it has been such a beneficial way of getting reps on camera.

WCBD News 2
After my freshman year at Penn State, I was fortunate enough to obtain an internship with the NBC affiliate station in Charleston. During my ten weeks in the program, I worked exclusively with the station's two sportscasters. I shadowed them on a daily basis, accompanied them at all local sporting events, helped them with research and story ideas, and contributed to filming/editing highlights and packages.

Mock Sportscasts
On a few occasions, I was given the opportunity to practice anchoring a sportscast in the news studio. This is one that I recorded for my reel. |
Feature Packages
I would always edit a recap package after we shot an event in the area. This package, specifically, revolves around Khris Middleton's homecoming. |
Montage/Compilation
One of the biggest topics of discussion I had with the station's two sportscasters was regarding the importance of a reel. While this is not in any way a reel, my two mentors thought it prudent for me to have a compilation of the best clips from my limited camera time.
